Generac’s Mobile Link App for IOS and Android devices makes remote monitoring of standby generators easier than ever before. Paired with the optional Mobile Link Remote Monitoring System, the App allows users to receive updates from their standby generators on smartphones and tablets.

Before the App was available, Mobile Link users checked their generator status in real time by logging into the mobile link website to view their dashboard. The Mobile Link App keeps the homeowner or business owner informed automatically without opening their web browser.

Mobile Link WiFi comes standard with all Generac Guardian Generators. Mobile Link Cellular 4G LTE is an optional addon
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_button button_url=”https://www.norwall.com/products/generac-mobile-link-cellular-4g-lte-monitoring-7169/” button_text=”Shop Mobile Link Cellular 4g LTE 🛒” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.10.1″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_bg_color=”#E09900″ button_border_width=”4px” button_border_color=”#7c7c7c” button_border_radius=”10px” button_font=”|700|||||||” button_text_shadow_style=”preset5″ global_module=”7892″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_button][et_pb_image src=”https://blog.norwall.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/generac-guardian-with-mobile-link-accessory-920x500px.jpg” alt=”Generac Guardian Generator withe Mobile Link Cellular Accessory Attached. ” title_text=”With a Generac Mobile Link Cellular Accessory and Mobile App, you’re always in updated and in control.” _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” url=”https://www.norwall.com/products/generac-mobile-link-cellular-4g-lte-monitoring-7169/” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.10.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] The Mobile Link Cellular Accessory attaches to the outside of the standby generator and communicates with the cellular system via text messages. Cellular service is required and one year of service is included in the package. Messages are relayed to the website where laptop and mobile users can access their generator’s controller remotely. The Mobile Link Service will send updates to four different cell phones and up to four email addresses.

Mobile Link Cellular 4G LTE Remote Monitoring Accessory

The Mobile Link system was first introduced in 2013 and is compatible with Generac generators.

During disasters and emergencies, the cellular phone system has proven more reliable than traditional landlines and landline-based Internet connections, making the Mobile Link system more reliable than other technologies that use telephone lines or Ethernet connections. Using a connection established by the Mobile Link accessory between the generator’s controller and the cellular text system, the controller sends and receives information as text messages. Installation is simple and it takes only a few minutes to attach the Mobile Link to the outside of the generator enclosure and connect it to the controller.

Three Mobile Link Plans

Smartphone users rely on their phones for information in real time including weather, traffic, and directions. The Mobile Link App provides real-time information on the standby generator status including when it starts and runs, if it needs maintenance, or has shut down in the event of a problem, such as a low oil condition.

The Mobile Link app is available for Android and IOS tablets and smart phones at the Amazon App Store, iTunes App Store, and Google Play. Generac showcased the technology in February 2014 at the annual International Builder’s Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mobile Link at iTune App Store, Amazon App Store, Google Play.

Homeowners can still access their dashboards at StandbyStatus.com via desktop or laptop computer, smartphone, or tablet, or receive email or text message notifications.

Updated August 19, 2021
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_button button_text=”Mobile Link—Get Generac Generator Status Updates Anywhere” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_border_radius=”28px” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” button_url=”https://blog.norwall.com/news-and-updates/mobile-link-generac-generator-status/” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Mobile Link App from Generac provides standby generator status notifications to IOS / Android Optional Generator settings Cellular service Dealer service

Mobile Link App from Generac provides standby generator status notifications to IOS / Android Optional Generator settings Cellular service Dealer service
[10,4
42,655,248
post-2931","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-generator-information","category-news-and-updates","tag-generac","tag-remote-monitoring","tag-standby-generator","et-has-post-format-content","et_post_format-et-post-format-standard
["GET
Mobile Link
